Trust The Process BBQ (formerly Carolina Chopped) was founded by South Carolina native Edwin Perkins. In 2015, Edwin began competing in local barbecue competitions throughout the State of Georgia. He quickly developed a passion for smoking meats and creating his own techniques. Since then, he is considered by many throughout the southeast and Metro-Atlanta as one of the most innovative and daring pit masters.
We should also mention that he and the TTP BBQ cook team have raked in numerous awards for Overall People's Choice, Best Chicken, Best Chili, Best Brisket, Best Turkey, Best Smoked Wings, Best BBQ Specialty Dish, etc...

Legend Has It...
The Jackalope, a mythical creature with the body of a rabbit and the antlers of an antelope. But why, you ask, would this enigmatic beast be chosen as the symbol that represents Trust The Process BBQ?

Well, my friend, the story goes that the Jackalope was once a humble rabbit, living in the hills of the American West. One day, while munching on a particularly flavorful patch of herbs, it stumbled upon a magical water spring. The water was infused with the essence of herbs and spices which had been secretly hidden away by a mischievous band of French fur trappers.

As the rabbit drank from the spring, it was suddenly imbued with the powers of the herbs and spices. Its antlers grew strong and majestic, and its sense of smell became so keen that it could detect the subtlest notes of flavor in even the most complex barbecue. From that day forward, the Jackalope, roamed the land, using its newfound powers to seek out the most tender, flavorful barbecue and bestow its blessing upon them. Therefore, the Jackalope became the symbol of the magical fusion of flavors that awaits all who dare to try it!
